متن کاملLag threads organize the brain's intrinsic activity.
It has been widely reported that intrinsic brain activity, in a variety of animals including humans, is spatiotemporally structured. Specifically, propagated slow activity has been repeatedly demonstrated in animals. In human resting-state fMRI, spontaneous activity has been understood predominantly in terms of zero-lag temporal synchrony within widely distributed functional systems (resting-st...
متن کاملMitochondrial acetyl-CoA carboxylase. Time course of mobilization/activation in liver of refed rats.
Fasted (48 h) rats were killed at 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, 16, 20 and 24 h after they were refed on a high-carbohydrate diet. An increase in the maximal activity and quantity of cystolic acetyl-CoA carboxylase was found in liver of refed rats after a lag time of about 8 h. The increased quantity of cytosolic enzyme was attributable primarily to mobilization of mitochondrial storage forms and not to s...

An experiment was carried out to evaluate effects of temperature, pH, and incubation time on the stability of intrinsic phytases. The experiment was conducted as a 3*4*3*3 factorial arrangement with 3 feed ingredients (rye, wheat, and barley), 4 temperatures (T) (20, 38, 55, and 80°C), 3 pH levels (3, 5.5, and 8), and 3 incubation times (30, 60, and 120 min), with 2 replicates per treatment. Af...
متن کاملWrapping Interactions and the Konishi Operator
We present a calculation of the four-loop anomalous dimension of the SU(2) sector Konishi operator in N = 4 SYM, as an example of “wrapping” corrections to the known result for long operators. We use the known dilatation operator at four loops acting on long operator, and just calculate those diagrams which are affected by the change from operator length L > 4 to L = 4. We find that the answer ...
